General Questions

What film formats do you process?
We currently process 35mm colour film (C41 process). We do not process black & white, slide film (E6), or medium format at this time.
What is C41 processing?
C41 is the standard chemical process for developing colour negative film. It is the most common process for colour films like Kodak Gold, Portra, Fuji Superia, etc.

Do you offer push or pull processing?
At this time, we offer standard C41 processing only. Push/pull processing may be available in the future.

Services & Pricing

What resolution are the scans?
We scan at high resolution suitable for printing up to A4 size and web use. Exact resolution depends on the service chosen, but all scans are delivered as high-quality JPEGs.
Do you return the negatives?
Yes, for Development & Scan and Development Only services, your processed negatives are returned in protective sleeves along with your order confirmation.
Can you scan already-developed negatives?
Yes! Our Scan Only service is perfect for negatives that have already been developed. Just drop them off and we will scan them for you.

Drop-off Location

Where do I drop off my film?
Drop off at the secure postbox located at New House Arts Space in Guildford. The exact address is: New House, 67-68 Eastgate Gardens, Guildford GU1 4BH.
What are the drop-off location hours?
New House Arts Space is generally accessible during standard business hours, 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday. The postbox is available whenever the building is open.

Turnaround & Delivery

How long does processing take?
Our standard turnaround is 48 hours from when we collect your film from the drop-off location. You will receive an email with download instructions once complete.
How will I receive my scans?
Scans are delivered via a secure download link sent to your email. The link remains active for 30 days. We recommend downloading and backing up your files promptly.
